Lead Designer Mike Brinker from Crystal Dynamics has told in an interview with pixelvulture that you’ll be able play Rise of the Tomb Raider in about 15-20 hours in simple mode.

Running through the game will take you around 15-20 hours,” Brinker told. “Expect to spend around 30 -40 hours getting everything done. This is gathering every weapons, ability and completing every side quest. It all comes down to how you want to play through the game. ” he added.

On the question on the size of the game Mike told:

In terms of scale, all our hub spaces, the areas that allow you to explore and choose your own way to play, have been increased by three time the size. So there will be lots more to see and do in each area of the game too. We have more challenge tombs, crypts, caves, and a bunch of extra things to do like the side missions for the Remnant people, and the tomb guardians.

If you have played the Tomb Raider game from 2013, the main gameplay was about 11-12 hours and complete about 15-20 hours.

Rise of the Tomb Raider will be available on November 10 for Xbox One and Xbox 360. Versions for PC and Playstation 4 will come out in 2016.

Rise of the Tomb Raider builds upon the formula that made Tomb Raider a success, and features the return of Camilla Luddington as Lara Croft. Camilla will take character performance to new heights as Lara pushes herself beyond human limits and is confronted with what it means to become a hero. Once again, Crystal Dynamics is proud to have the award-winning author Rhianna Pratchett as a key member of the writing team, helping craft a story that delves into Lara’s inner turmoil and motivations in this critical second act of her journey.
